Close your eyes.
Imagine that you live in a cold room which doesn’t have
furniture except an old blanket, table and chair.Imagine that you are hungry and
your clothes are over-worn.You are such a broke.
Imagine being hungry for days, unable to even stay in single
room because you can't pay the rent. Imagine livinging on the streets and
stripping the bones that dogs eat.
How desperate , isn’t it ?
So, if you're so desperate, can you dare to steal ?
If you knew you were going to starve ,could you take money
that you didn't deserve?
What about pride ?
Is it possible to be ‘proud’ in such misery ?
What about love ?
Can a poor man who sells shirt buttons to feed his stomach
have the right to love ?
All right I shouldn’t have used the expression’Fantasy World’
because this may not be the right
statement. 😔
On the physiology of hunger;
After reading this book, ‘What changes will happen to your
body if a person goes hungry for a long time ?'I started looking for the answer
to his question .I was quite surprised by what I found out. Scientists say
healthy people can last as long as 8 weeks without food as long as they can
find water. The body stores the energy it needs as fat, carbohydrates and
protein. It is the first carbohydrate used when there is no food. Then fat and
finally protein are used.
Symptoms after a few days without food include:
In fact, the hallucinations that he sees are caused by long days of
hunger.
On the psychology of hunger;
According to a study published by American psychologist
Maslow in 1943, people are subject to a hierarchy of needs.
The individual tends to meet their basic needs, starting with the lowest level of their needs. A person does not perceive the requirements of a higher-level category until the requirements of a particular category are fully met, they do not have such requirements. As an example, a person who can feed on a daily basis but is not in security, who constantly perceives himself as a possible threat, does not need to read books to improve his worldview.
Since our hero is stuck on the first step of this pyramid,
he suffers both psychological and physiological deprivation. As a result, he
experiences frequent hallucinations and talks to himself . The only good thing
that hunger can't destroy is the debt of loyalty to the people who do him good
🔊 20. although it is
considered the literary opening of the century, it is considered one of the
most important examples of modern and psychologically immersive literature
🔊 The first pages of the
book describe the author's biography. At the end of the book you can catch some
resemblance.
